OPO Crew Request # 25-09 In 2023 we were introduced to boat owner and skipper XXXXX through one of our fellow delivery skipper. They got OPO crew from us back then. He is looking for one an additional crew who can stand a solo watch for this next a passage from Sint Maarten to Curacao. He already has two crew and is looking for one more for a total of four crew. He has an ambitious plan to keep sailing through the Panama Canal and to Central America and the Pacific Islands. This passage is a good opportunity to meet and see about further passage opportunities sailing aboard. The boat is a 2015 Beneteau 55 named XXXXXX that he has owned since 2020. He has been sailing for thirty-five years and has owned others boats for the past 25 years. He has about 60,000 miles and has done this passage before staying in Columbia and Panama area in 2010 to 2012. Soon after arrival in Panama the boat will go on the hard until the Canal Crossing as the plan evolves. He e-mail: We crossed the Atlantic in the ARC in 2022 with friends and family, and made various voyages to the Northeast U.S. and all around the Caribbeans. The boat has all safety equipment required for safe and comfortable offshore sailing. All equipment serviced and many spare parts onboard. Owner would like to develop a relationship with a crew who may make further passages within Latin America and crossing the canal to the Pacific later this summer. USA or Canadian passport holders only. Previous offshore experience preferred. Needs to be able to stand a solo watch. All onboard expenses covered during the passage. The passage is free with all onboard provisions and boat expenses covered by the owner, but you end to get to and from the boat and have money for meals and drinks ashore.
