1/25/2025 from Nanny Cay, Tortola BVI to Long Island Bahamas on a Beneteau 44.7
OPO Crew Request # 25-01 Boat owner and skipper XXXXXX is looking for one more crew for a total of three crew to make this 950 miles passage from the BVI to the Bahamas. The boat is a 2005 Beneteau 44.7 named XXXXXX. We know him well since he sailed in our NARC Rally and we have gotten crew for him before and it worked out well. He has over 10,000 offshore miles and the other crew is a boat owner with mechanical skills and can also stand a solo watch. Since there will be only three crew, you need to be able to stand a solo watch. The good news is that this will be a downwind passage from the Caribbean to the Bahamas. He is leaving time in to make stops and wants to allow up to two weeks for this 950 miles passage. He adds: 3 CABIN 2 HEAD MODEL, Standing Rigging 2 yrs old, Liferaft, EPIRB, Iridium, SPOT, Electric winches. The passage is free with all onboard expenses included but you need to get to and from the boat and have money for meals and drinks ashore.
