11/3/2024 from Hampton VA to Bermuda to St. Thomas on a Nautitech 40 Cat

OPO Crew Request # 24-88 Nautitech 40 Open Catamaran Hampton VA to Bermuda to St. Thomas - Boat owner, skipper and long-time OPO member XXXXXX is looking for one more experienced crew for a total of four for his passage south this year. The boat is a 2019 Nautitech 40 Open Catamaran named XXXXXX. He has owned the boat for two and a half years and has made five offshore passages already. He plans to depart the first good weather window after November 3rd. First leg to Bermuda and then south to St. Thomas. He is making what I consider the preferred float plan of sailing east first from the Chesapeake Bay to Bermuda first and then use the trade winds south of Bermuda that are from the East and south east to have a nice 2nd leg sail to the Caribbean. Bermuda does not have to be expensive if you anchor out and eat aboard. He can learn more about him and the boat on his web site https://www.UUUUUU.com/ and can subscribe to his new blog. He e-mails: She is fully equipped for offshore sailing including a 6-person life raft (re-certified 10/22), two EPIRB's (one with AIS), Iridim Go!, Starlink, VHF, AIS, radar, water maker, complete flares and signaling kits, new in-boom furling, standing, and running rigging. Owner’s wife with 3 years’ experience. One additional crew with unlimited tonnage license, Merchant Marine Academy graduate, over 50,000 nm logged. The passage is free with all onboard provisions and expenses included, but you need to get to and from the boat. But you need to get to and from the boat and have money for food and drinks ashore. If interested please send your sailing resume to him at XXXXX@XXXX
