Non-OPO members are welcome to view our message board. You will notice that we do not post contact information. If you think you are or would have been interested in sailing aboard one of the offshore passage opportunities than it is a good indication that you should join OPO. Once you become a member you do not need to come back to the message board as the opportunities will be e-mailed to you as they come up.

OPO Crew Request # 24-48 XXXXXX is looking for one experienced crew member and one less experienced to join him aboard his Jeanneau 46, XXXXXX on a trip from Puerto Rico to the Abacos, Bahamas. He would like crew to arrive on or about June 5th for this 800 mile trip. He expects crew to plan on 12 days away. The boat is equipped for cruising. Furling genoa, in mast furling main, code 0, extended range fuel tanks, Raymarine electronics- autopilot, radar, AIS etc, liferaft, EPIRB, Zoleo satellite tracker. Crew are responsible for transportation to and from the boat. He writes: Currently I just have me as owner/skipper. But am looking for 2 extra crew so that the three of us can have an enjoyable passage from western PR to Bahamas as I head the boat north ahead of the hurricane season. Weather and conditions permitting, we should be able to drop the hook and rest en route in the Turks and eastern Bahamas islands - as I intend to take the inside passage between the Turks and DR.
