If you think you are or would have been interested in sailing aboard one of the offshore passage opportunities than it is a good indication that you should join OPO. Once you become a member you do not need to come back to the message board as the opportunities will be e-mailed to you as they come up.

OPO e-mail # 23-51 OP XXXXXX Boat owner and skipper XXXXXX has a very nice 1985 Swan 46 named XXXXXX He is looking for crew to make his annual passage from his winter quarters to his summer mooring in XXXXXX NY. He has made this passage a few times before and knows the route well. I hav2e met him and been on his boat in XXXXXX He is a nice guy. Hep lans to leave early in the morning on the 13th so you can show up the day before an spend the night. He Adds; XXXXXX a 1985 Swan 46 continues to be very well maintained, with recent 1000 hour Yanmar engine service and new cutlass bearing installed. Equipment includes EPIRB, life raft, jacklines, handheld GPS, VHF with AIS, two XXXXXX chart plotters, radar and new fire extinguishers to name a few. Anticipate 48hr passage give or take.
