2/28/2023 from Ventura CA to Newport RI via Panama Canal on a Swan 51

OPO e-mail # 23-01 Pro Swan skipper and good friend XXXXXX is starting his New Year with a nice long passage West to East. The boat is a Swan 51 named Elan that is in great shape after a sale and refit including a water-marker and new navigation systems, dodgers and bimini. He is looking for two crew with offshore experience who can stand a solo watch if needed. He plans to depart Feb 28th so you would show up a day or two before then and plan on a six week or more. But this is a delivery so it will be as quick as possible, but also taking care of the boat. He Adds; “All crew to provide their own harness and safety gear. This trip should take about 6 weeks depending on transit through the canal. That includes a stop here and there on the way depending on our progress.” As usual the passage is free with all onboard expenses, provisions and canal transit-fees included, but crew need to get to and from the boat and have money for drinks and meals ashore. If interested please e-mail your sailing resume to XXXXXX at XXXXX@XXXX
