Non-OPO members are welcome to view our message board. You will notice that we do not post contact information. If you think you are or would have been interested in sailing aboard one of the offshore passage opportunities than it is a good indication that you should join OPO. Once you become a member you do not need to come back to the message board as the opportunities will be e-mailed to you as they come up.

In seconds you can become an OPO member like so many other pleased captains and crew.

2/20/2022 from St. Augustine Florida to Key West and back on a Boat

OPO e-mail # 21-116 OPOOPO OPOOPO is looking for one crew to join him for an extended 2-month vacation on his 40-foot OPOOPO named OPOOPO This is a power boat. Tod runs a small charter company in Florida . But this is a leisurely vacation. We heard from Todd through another active OPO members who I have sailed with before. Todd is looking for a pleasant person who is capable of handling dock lines and keeping the boat clean. Todd admits, ”I'm a bit of a clean freak”. This is a 1100 miles passage spread over 60 days. Todd describes his boat: “The vessel has had a total refit over 2 years, central heat and air, separate sleeping arrangements, 40-inch TV, blue tooth audio, large upper deck, full galley, gas grill, ice maker shower with tub. 16’ silver king tender that OPOOPO used several years in the Islamorada celebrity redbone tournament. I have 70000 offshore hours on my boats, never a violation and 5-star rating on google for T OPOOPO ”. About the passage he explains, “I plan on stopping twice before the keys to spend A-day or 2 with some close friends. I don't think I'll run offshore unless we have perfect weather as I'm not in a hurry. This is 100% vacation and time away from the business. Other than stopping twice on the way down I really have no other plan.” Todd will pay all onboard and boat expenses, but you need to get to and from the boat and have money for shoreside meals and entertainment. He is looking for someone who has time for the entire passage. If interested please e-mail him your sailing resume and contact information so you can interview over the phone or meet in person or on zoom. His e-mail address is H XXXXX@XXXX
