5/18/2021 from St. Maarten to Huntington NY on a Amel 53

OPO e-mail # 21-08 Boat owner and very experienced skipper OPOOPO is looking for two more crew for a total of five people including himself for his annual passage back home. He has gotten crew from us for many years and some of them are repeat crew. This year because of the pandemic he is looking for two semi experienced crew to join him and maybe become part of his regular list of crew he contacts first for his annual passages north and south each year. The boat is a very nice and well equipped Amel 53 named OPOOPO that he has owned since new. In fact he just repowered with a new Yanmar engine for no other reason than the old one had 7000 hours on it. He would like to depart May 20 or 21st with crew arriving a couple of days before. He plans to make a straight passage and not stop in Bermuda so it should be about a 9 or 10 day sail from SXM to Huntington NY on the north shore of Long Island. There will be a total of five crew so you may not be required to do a solo watch until you feel comfortable. While he  would like experienced crew who do not get seasick, he knows it is more important to have team players who can get along with others and follow instructions. The trip is free with all onboard provisions and boat expenses included. You just need to get to and from the boat. If interested please e-mail your sailing resume and interest to join him to XXXXX@XXXX
