Message Board: Sailing Opportunities

Non-OPO members are welcome to view our message board. You will notice that we do not post contact information. If you think you are or would have been interested in sailing aboard one of the offshore passage opportunities than it is a good indication that you should join OPO. Once you become a member you do not need to come back to the message board as the opportunities will be e-mailed to you as they come up.

In seconds you can become an OPO member like so many other pleased captains and crew.

5/1/2021 from Tortola BVI to Annapolis MD on a Jeaneau 54

OPO e-mail # 21-05 Tortola BVI to Annapolis MD - Pro skipper OPOOPO is looking for one more crew to join him and his 1st mate for this delivery of a 2005 54' Jeaneau Deck Salon masthead sloop. Captain OPOOPO has been delivering boats for many years and has gotten crew from OPO before. It has always worked out well as he is a very experienced skipper and nice guy. Trip approximately 1600 nautical miles or 10 day to two weeks max. He adds: “Bobby Allen and I, OPOOPO are the major players on this delivery. Our bios can be found on my web site: http://www.UUUUU.com. Looking for a fit sailor and watch stander. Must have chart plotter understanding and sail trim skills. Radar helpful. Bring any paperwork you have to document your mileage. At the moment any crew must have a negative covid 19 test no older than three days upon arrival. The BVIs and the USVIs are expected to relax their covid 19 protocol in the next few weeks. The yacht has recently undergone a major refit including new mast and sails.” If you are prone to seasickness please stay home. As usual the passage is free with all onboard expenses included, but you need to get to and from the boat. If interested please send OPOOPO your sailing resume and contact information at XXXXX@XXXX
