Message Board: Sailing Opportunities

Non-OPO members are welcome to view our message board. You will notice that we do not post contact information. If you think you are or would have been interested in sailing aboard one of the offshore passage opportunities than it is a good indication that you should join OPO. Once you become a member you do not need to come back to the message board as the opportunities will be e-mailed to you as they come up.

In seconds you can become an OPO member like so many other pleased captains and crew.

NOTICE:
Given the world-wide health concerns of COVID-19, we have suspended the issuance of crew requests. However, we can match members who are ready and able to travel. And we are still accepting crew requests from boat owners. Please contact us with any questions.

6/30/2020 from Red hook USVI to Annapolis MD on a Hanse

e-mail # 20-36 I met Pro Skipper OPOOPO in Red Hook last month. He rescued the Swan 48 Affinity from BVI and brought her over to St. Thomas for Murray to fly down and deliver last month. Now he is looking for crew. He is looking for up to three more crew plus himself for a total of 4 crew. All crew need to be able to stand a solo watch. He has a Captains 200T License and 30,000 ocean miles. He is a nice guy. The boat is Hanse 2017 455 privately owned, maintained by B and G yacht management in Nanny Cay, BVI. He has a recent survey of the boat She has or will have all the necessary safety gear aboard. Crew will need their own foul weather gear and PFD. The passage is free with all onboard expenses. He can even help with a travel stipend within reason. If interested please e-mail him your sailing resume and contact information to XXXXX@XXXX
