6/1/2023 from Antigua to Trinidad on a Amel 53
OPO Crew request # 24-41 XXXXXX is buying a 2003 Amel 53 named “XXXXXX”. He is flying down to Antugia later this weekend April 30th. The boat will be surveyed next week. Unless there are major issues, he will close on the boat soon and move aboard. After that he is looking to stay south and cruise the Caribbean for the spring and summer. He is looking to meet people who would like to island hop for a while. His preliminary plans are to head south to Trinidad and then West towards Mexico. He ultimately wants to cruise up to New England next year. We suggest anyone interested in looking for someone to cruise long term with should contact him right away by phone before he flies down to the boat in the next few days. We do not suggest buying a ticket and joining him until he knows 1) he is 100% buying the boat 2) Has more of a plan in place that he will formalize as he speaks with potential OPO crew and 3) Make sure of the terms of what he wants to charge per day or per week for fuel etc. This could be a good opportunity for long term cruising, but we do not know XXXXXX enough to suggest more than calling him and see how things go. He has owned other boats in the past from a Tartan 10 -33 ft then an Ericson 32 and a Hunter 41AC. While the last boats were starter boats, this is the one he plans to live-aboard and cruise. He is looking to meet new people who may want to join him and chip in for provisions and some boat expenses like fuel and dockage while exploring the Caribbean while deciding where to go next. He adds: It is my intention to use the wind as often as possible. I would like crew that are not in a hurry to get to the destination, washer that they enjoy the journey. I have no problem jumping off a sailboat doing 1 knot or less to swim and cool off. If interested please call him at XXX-XXX-XXXX and send your sailing resume to him at XXXXX@XXXX
Note: We get crew requests that are short notice and we get crew requests that are long term and still in planning stages. We got this request last week. The owner is flying down this weekend to make sure 1st that he is buying the boat. He is pretty sure it will go through. If so then he is looking for up to 2 to 3 crew who may want to join him for extended cruising. If interested we suggest speaking with him in the next two or three days while he is still in the USA and see if you will be interested in joining him once he puts a plan together with input from potential crew.

6/9/2023 from Bahamas to the BVI on a Halcyon
OPO Crew Request #23-54 XXXXXX is looking for 1 crew member. It looks like this trip was postponed from March and may have been posted as an opportunity at that time. This is what he sent us: I had to delay the delivery from the Bahamas to the BVI in March due to work constraints. The boat is now in XXXXXX FL and I'm ready to depart for the Bahamas. I'm looking for 1 crew who is comfortable with upwind sailing to help me take the boat from the Bahamas to the BVI. I plan to break the trip into 2 legs. Nassau <> Turks and Caicos / Turks and Caicos to the BVI - Each leg is about 400-450NM. I am looking for 1 crew to join me and my wife for this trip. I plan to depart Nassau on 6/8 and arrive in the BVI by 6/22. I will cover food and costs while onboard the boat. Crew is responsible for travel to and from the boat. Halcyon is a 1958 wood 35 ft XXXXXX She is well maintained and equipped for offshore sailing. Halcyon has proven herself as a capable offshore bluewater boat. She has been tested as I sailed her down to Florida from NYC and from NYC up to Maine last summer. Interested crew can email him at XXXXX@XXXX

3/16/2023 from Bahamas to St Kitts and Nevis on a Ohlson
OPO e-mail # 23-06 Boat owner and skipper XXXXXX has a 1958 Ohlson 35-footer named Halcyon. He has sailed it from XXXXXX to Floirda so far. He and his wife are bringing the boat to the Bahamas over the next few weeks. Their goal has always been to get the boat to XXXXXX week the middle of April. Jeff has been moving the boat from XXXXXX to as far as Florida in legs as he has to get back to work every few weeks. He has over a month to get from the Bahamas to St. Kitts starting about XXXXXX Ideally he would to have two more crew to join him for the entire passage, but if need be he has broken it up to suggested legs for those with less time. He plans to stop in the Turks and Caicos, then either XXXXXX or USVI or BVI’s / then onto XXXXXX and Nevis.
He e-mails:
Planned legs.
1.) Bahamas to Turks - XXXXXX or XXXXXX to Turks and Caicos - Roughly 400 NM 3-4 days
2.) Turks to USVI / BVI / XXXXXX - Roughly 400 - 440 NM 3-4 days
3.) USVI / BVI / XXXXXX to XXXXXX - Roughly 150 NM - 1-2 days
Crew can join for the entire trip ( which I plan could take up to 3-4 weeks ) as I plan to stop in each island for a few days.
Jeff has gotten crew from us for previous legs and it has worked out well. I have spoken on the phone with him a few times on the phone and he seems like a good guy. This is a wooden boat that has been restored and proven offshore ready as she has already travelled 1000 miles. Classic also means less room below. This is an upwind passage which is why you want to have extra time just in case it is blowing hard for a couple of days here you have to wait. Only experienced crew who know what it is like to go upwind for a few days at a time should apply. As usual the passage is free with all boat expenses and onboard food included, but you need to get to and from the boat. If interested please send your sailing resume to him XXXXX@XXXX

5/21/2023 from Barcelona Spain to Porto Cervo Sardinia Italy on a Oyster 46
OPO Crew request # 23-46 Long time OPO member and good friend XXXXXX is looking for another crew who wishes to join him when he returns to the boat next month. He has one crew but invites one more OPO members to join them. For many years XXXXXX crewed through OPO until he retired and bought bis own boat. Now he gets crew from OPO when he needs to fill in. He has a very nice Oyster 46. It is a short two day sail from Spain to Sardinia, but XXXXXX plans to sail around a bit before family arrives May 31st so you are welcome to spend a few days staying aboard after you arrive. He e-mails:
Hey Hank. I have a nice opportunity for someone who is looking for some time in the Med and can get to Spain. My 2006 Oyster 46 S/Y Seashells of St James spent the winter in Barcelona and is totally ready for a mid May trip to Italy.
I plan to arrive Barcelona Sunday May 21 to provision and prep for a May 23 departure for Porto Cervo, Sardinia, a two night passage. I have one returning mate but would like an additional experienced hand to share watches.
The right person would then be welcome to stay on board and help with some easy day sailing around Sardinia May 25 to May 31 when my family arrives. I will be returning to Spain June 13 or 14 with a stop in Ibiza so there are actually a couple of nice trips here for someone with the right location and calendar.
Expenses of the boat are on me. Candidates need to get to and from the boat but the discount intra Euro airfares are very good. Sailing resumes please to me at XXXXX@XXXX
You will also want to have your own money for meals and drinks ashore.

OPO Crew Request # 23-53 Boat owner, skipper, and OPO Member XXXXXX is on the last leg if his long delivery of his Tayana 48 from the West Coast to New York. He had two OPO members with him for most of the passage, but had an alternator problem that has delayed the last leg to NY and they had to leave the boat. I have sailed with XXXXXX and he is a nice guy and knows what he is doing. He e-mails:
Because of this crew change, I need a couple of sailors to help me get the boat from Beaufort to Huntington. I believe that we will be able to push off on Monday or Tuesday depending on weather. It will be a neat opportunity as we will sail through New York Harbor, past the Statue of Liberty, and up the East River. Could you kindly share a crew request for folks that might be willing to travel to Beaufort (New Bern airport) and sail with me? I need folks that can handle a night watch alone.

4/16/2023 from Boca Raton to Glen Cove on a Azimut 45
OPO e-mail # 23-25 Pro delivery skipper XXXXXX is looking for one crew to help move an Azimut 45. He moved the same boat south last fall. He is a very nice guy and very capable. Younger than many of my colleagues He e-mails: I generally run 10–12-hour days and stop at a marina each night, although an overnight run or two wouldn't be out of the question, weather permitting. Really just need someone to handle lines and fenders, but it would be nice to have crew who is comfortable taking the helm to give me a break now and then. Food and travel costs are covered by the owners (crew local to either NY/CT or Boca will be given preference to minimize travel costs). The scheduling on this one is still up in the air. Departure could be as early as April 16, but it might end up having to wait until later in May. I won't know for sure until around April 13-14. I know that kind of flexibility is a lot to ask of your members. I'll leave it to you to tell me whether it's more appropriate to wait until I know for sure and send out a last-minute request, or send one out now with the caveat that dates aren't set yet. If you are interested and have the flexibility to commit and be on stand-by please contact Spencer, first by sending you him your sailing resume and any power boats experience you may have, and then you can talk on the phone. OPO e-mail # 23-05 Pro skipper XXXXXX is looking for two crew to join him for this passage aboard a XXXXXX 62 named Spray. The owners were devastated and took a sabbatical from sailing but are now ready to go again.”
Her figures the actual passage will take about 45-55 hours. With a day or two to get ready and a day to clean up expect about a 5-day commitment barring any unexpected weather delay. He plans to hug the coast to stay inside of the XXXXXX along the XXXXXX

4/29/2023 from Charleston, SC to Newport, RI on a Swan 53
OPO e-mail # 23-44 Pro skipper and friend XXXXXX is looking for two crew to join on a delivery from Charleston, SC to Newport, RI. The boat is a properly outfitted Swan 53 that departed the U.S. west coast last month, traversed the Panama Canal, and is now completing the last leg of the journey. Weather delays along the way and tight schedules have forced a skipper and crew change. He is joining the boat April 29th, replacing Captain XXXXXX, who will be sailing north in the OPO Swan program. He plans to depart Charleston on the first good weather window to ‘round Hatteras, hopefully 04/30. He was a skipper in our spring 2022 Swan Program. His Adds: “Good crew qualities are enthusiasm, sailing knowledge, compatibility, and respectfulness. You must have experience standing a night watch alone and understand ship’s lights. Physical dexterity is required. There is a life raft, AIS, radar, plotter, and auto pilot. All crew members will share all onboard duties, including cooking and cleaning. Due to the last-minute nature of the request, some transportation costs to/from may be reimbursed by the boat, based on experience.” As usual all onboard boat expenses are covered, but you need to get to and from the boat. 5/29/2023 from Charleston, SC (Patriot’s Point) to Cardinal, VA (Zimmerman Marine) on a Privilege 50' Catamaran
OPO Crew Request # 23-59 Boat owner and skipper XXXXXX has a 2017 Privilege 50’ Catamaran named SV XXXXXX. He is looking for two crew to join him for up to a three-four day offshore passage. Coy lives in Austin, TX and keeps XXXXXX in Charleston, SC. His plan is to depart from XXXXXX Marina (Patriot’s Point) on or around May 28th (or the safest weather window to follow). I have been in touch with Coy by phone and by e-mail. He is a quick learner and write the following pretty much on his own. He e-mailed: “This is for a one-way passage. Coy would like two additional crew mates (with a safe sense of humor!) for this fun and exciting “mission”. Coy is a professional aviator with multiple jet type ratings, owner of an aviation management company (highly technical and runs a tight ship), flight instructor (loves to learn and teach) and has been a seaman since before he could walk ??. He is married (Loren) with two little girls (Sailor 6 and Landy 7) who are tuckered out from 1600nm of passages through the Caribbean since November. Coy has owned and chartered numerous small and large monohulls and catamarans since a child and has lived aboard XXXXXX, essentially single handing, since he bought it a year ago. XXXXXX has roughly 9000 nautical miles sailed under his belt. He is looking for a set of experienced hands to share the camaraderie, experience, and good time, safely on a capable and stable sailing vessel. XXXXXX is very well equipped with all the latest tech and safety gear, not to mention each crew member will have their own separate state rooms for rest during this journey. He will pay all onboard boat expenses: food, drink, wares, fuel and dockage etc. All you will need is to get to and from the boat, and have money for your own meals and drinks shore. and understand flexibility to meet weather window departure and planning. 5/1/2023 from Chesapeake to Europe on a Boat
OPO e-mail # 22-157 Boat owner and skipper XXXXXX is planning well ahead to get crew so there is time to meet crew before the spring departure from the Chesapeake Bay to Europe. He has a 1984 Belliure 41 named Musetta that he has owned for two years. He has two other crew so is only looking for one more crew. Since one of the other crew is a female and expressed a preference for having one other female aboard, I am comfortable breaking one of my own rules of never specifying male or female as we are not a dating service. But since this is a legitimate request. Sorry, men need not read further.
The skipper and the boat and other crew:
He e-mails:
“Very well equipped. Double headsail sloop, roller furling main on boom, nearly new roller furling head sails, new Spade anchor as primary with 200 feet of high strength chain, all new. Second anchor is a Fortress with 50 feet of chain and 200 feet of rode. Lefrans windlass with rode and chain gypsies. All new lifelines being installed now. New hydrovane self steering windvane being installed soon. below decks autopilot. SSB with pactor IV modem. AIS, Radar, VHF radio, depth gauge, wind indicator. 12V system designed by Bob Campbell being installed currently using LiPoFe battery based system. Bow thruster. Yanmar engine with about 800 hours. Ship carries approximately 160 gallon of fresh water in two saddle tanks on either side of engine, approximately 110 gallons of diesel fuel in two saddle tanks also on either side of main engine. All significant weigh is located low over keel in the center of the boat.”
Myself - over 50 years of sailing experience. I lived and sailed off the Spanish coast in the Bay of Biscay for about 10 years. I've sailed most of the Great Lakes, the Gulf of Mexico, various regions of the East coast, San Juan Islands. XXXXXX, RYA certified captain with several trans-Atlantic crossings. Lori Ramos with limited sailing experience over the past 3 or 4 years mostly small boat racing, some larger boat coastal cruising. I have over 50 years of sailing experience but have not crossed oceans yet.
The other crew: male crew has extensive experience including multiple crossings. The female has the least experience, she has been sailing only for the past 3 or 4 years - mostly racing and small boat handling.
Drinking: is not permitted while sailing - fine once we are in port or anchored. This is a smoke free ship. Medical concerns are minimal - some "old age" medications are being taken. No food concerns - we do like good food!”
XXXXXX has gotten crew from us before and it worked out well. I also just spoke on the phone with him before writing this up. The boat is in the Chesapeake Bay area, but he lives north of NY City.
The passage is free but the other two crew are chipping in for provisions and maybe a bit towards dockage in Bermuda and the Azores. XXXXXX asks the 4th crew to do the same. I always suggest agreeing on a dollar amount ahead of time. You also need to get to and from the boat and have money for meals and drinks ashore. If you do not have 60 days off you can go to Plan B and get off in the Azores as they can carry on the rest of the passage with 3 crew. If interested, please send your sailing resume to him at XXXXX@XXXX

5/15/2023 from Chesapeake Bay to Europe via Bermuda and Azores on a Belliure 41
OPO e-mail # 23-38 Boat owner and skipper XXXXXX is looking for one more experienced crew to join him for this Trans-Atlantic. XXXXXX has a 1984 Belliure 41 named XXXXXX. He expects to depart from Baltimore or Annapolis. The final plan is still in flux. He has gotten crew from us before for a short passage, but this is a long passage so you will want to make sure you do your due diligence and try and meet him and the boat before you agree to join. He would like crew to show up a week or so early to help get ready and to familiarize yourself with the boat. If you are short on time he is fine if you have to depart from the Azores. He Adds: Boat is a well-equipped Belliure 41. Engine is a nearly new Yanmar with only 800 hours. The boat is a raised deck house design so it has a lot of interior light. Space is nicely laid out. The engine, water and fuel tanks sit in the middle of the boat above the keel making the boat very sea kindly. She runs a fair amount of sail so is fairly quick for a 1984 blue water boat. We have a full crew, we are looking for 4 people to cross making watches much easier. But one of the crew just had an accident and broke their thumb so can't make the trip. I realize this is a bit late, but i thought I'd give it a shot and try and find one more crew to join. He adds about the other crew onboard: One woman from Toronto, novice. One woman from New York she experienced. Novice has two years of racing experience and some coastal cruising experience. Experienced - has crossed from Europe Azores, done a fair amount of other long sailing legs. Normally a long passage like this crew will pay their own way to and from the boat and maybe offer to chip in for provisions. The boat owner will pay for boat expenses etc. But good to make sure you discuss all this before signing aboard. To learn more about this Trans-Atlantic opportunity please contact XXXXXX with your sailing resume at XXXXX@XXXX

1/3/2023 from Emerald Bay Marina, Great Exuma, Bahamas to Antigua on a sloop
OPO e-mail # 22-157 Boat owner and skipper XXXXXX was part of the Salty Dawg Rally this year that got delayed departing from the US and went to the Bahamas first. He is now making plans to complete the passage to the Caribbean after the Holidays.
XXXXXX has a 2020 Catalina 445 named Navigant. He is looking for two crew to make this passage. He and his wife have spent the last 5 years cruising up and down the East Coast of the USA on two boats. He is an accomplished sailor that know his boat well. He was referred by another OPO member who I have sailed with. He is looking for experienced crew who can stand a solo watch and help get the boat to Antigua. I spoke with him this morning and he seems like a very nice man. He is letting his wife fly down to Antigua after the passage so it will be two OPO members plus himself.
He e-mails:
“Navigant is a well-equipped and maintained sloop rigged monohull sailboat with blue Bimini top and enclosure, an auxiliary 57 HP Yammer engine, 6 KW Generator, Spectra water maker and a Highfield CL 290 tender with a 9.9 HP Mercury Outboard engine. She carries 130 gallons of fuel and 150 gallons of fresh water.
Communications equipment include a fixed VHF and 2 handheld VHF radios, Starlink satellite, IridiumGo SAT Phone, and Garmin In Reach Satellite tracking and messaging.
Safety equipment includes all required visual (flares, electric distress light), and audible distress signals, EPIRB, fire extinguishers, emergency bilge pumps, flashlights, Winslow 4-man offshore life raft, general trauma first aid equipment, ditch bag, wooden bungs, jacklines, tethers, PFDs, along with ships emergency spares for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.”
He is going back to the USA for the holidays in the next few days. He will return to the boat and meet crew soon after the New Year and complete the passage to Antigua. He knows this is an upwind passage and will make stops for fuel or to duck in for better weather as needed, but the plan is to get to Antigua asap. The passage is 900 miles, but plan to have extra time for any delays or upwind work. The passage can be as short as 10 days with travel and prep time, but may take a bit longer.
The passage is frere with all onboard expenses included, but you need to get to and from the boat and have money for meals and drinks ashore. However, he understands that helping both crew with a small travel stipend to get home within reason will help get a better response and good crew so he will offer some money to get you home from Antigua. If interested, please e-mail XXXXXX with your sailing resume at XXXXX@XXXX

OPO Crew Request # 23-62 This is from a new boat owner. He has hired a good friend and pro delivery skipper (Jean Claude) to sail this leg with him as well as inviting OPO members to contact him for this passage so he can meet new sailors who may wish to join him later this summer. He is looking for experienced crew to help sail this big boat this summer. He is offering to help with travel expenses in compensation. This is a great opportunity to meet a new boat owner who is looking to make friends to join him for longer sails in the future. Here is his first crew request in his own words.
Marc e-mails:
Pro skipper / owner XXXXXX and good friend XXXXXX Schubel, are looking for crew to help deliver a beautiful 2015 Beneteau 55 from XXXXXX to Annapolis. XXXXXX with lots of miles on different boats, is a natural teacher and has shared his experience before with crew members from OPO.
From the Owner:
The boat just crossed the Atlantic in the ARC and has all safety equipment required for safe and comfortable offshore sailing. All equipment serviced and many spare parts onboard.
Owner will be onboard for the passage and will round XXXXXX for the seventh time. The vessel has all the sailing gear it can have and comfort equipment.
Owner would love to develop a relationship with a crew who may make further passages up and down the XXXXXX USA or Canadian passport holders only. Previous offshore experience preferred. Needs to be able to stand a solo watch. All onboard expenses covered. Possibility to cover flight for the right crew.
Planned departure is June 7. Distance approx 900 NM or 5-7 days. Sail nonstop unless weather or equipment failure.

4/30/2023 from Fort Lauderdale to Huntington NY on a Tayana 48DS
OPO Crew-Request # 23-19 Boat owner, skipper, and OPO Member XXXXXX and I have sailed together from New London to Annapolis on a delivery a couple of years ago. He was talking about boat he might purchase on the West Coast and then did. He is now looking to get a couple or crew to join him for the final leg to the boats new summer home. Since he was an active OPO member he knows how we work and wrote most of his own “crew request”. He e-mails, I purchased a 2007 Tayana 48DS last year in San Francisco. I sailed the boat down to Mexico and had it shipped from there to Fort Lauderdale. I’ve been sailing it in Florida and The Bahamas this past winter and would like to bring the boat up to Huntington (NY) for the Summer. The boat is in great shape and is equipped with all of the offshore safety gear one would expect for such a trip. I’ve made this journey up and down the coast in other boats, both with and without professional captains. I would appreciate hearing from some of your crew that would be interested in joining me for this trip. I’d like to set sail from Fort Lauderdale in about a month (late April) and will go when the appropriate weather conditions exist for travel. Because of the cabin configuration (2 doubles and 2 heads), couples are encouraged to apply but all crew will be considered. I’ll cover the expenses while underway and would expect the crew to provide their own transportation to and from the boat. Can you please share this request with the network and encourage them to share their resumes with me at XXXXX@XXXX

1/21/2023 from Ft Lauderdale and Panama Canal to Tahiti on a Tartan
OPO e-mail # 22-161 Good friend and delivery skipper XXXXXX has another new charter Catamaran to deliver. Another 50 foot XXXXXX John is a founder of XXXXXX They do a lot of new charter boat work. He is looking for two crew who have the time to make the entire passage, but if he can’t get two crew with that much time it can be split into Legs with Leg # 1 ending on the far side of the XXXXXX About a week sail and then three or four days to get set up and through the Canal. Leg # 2 will be a long non-stop passage, but mostly downwind XXXXXX conditions. It is a new Cat so the crew will be trying to keep the boat clean and half unused.
John is a very nice guy who helped me rebuild the hurricane damaged Tartan 3700 that I bought and rebuilt during covid in SXM. Not only a very nice, easy going Aussie, but is very handy. He has been living on boats for many years in SXM. The passage is free with all onboard expenses included, but you need to get to and from the boat and have some money for the couple of stops. A nice 6 to 8 weeks away at a good time of year to be away. I am happy to tell you more, but if you are interested please contact John with your sailing resume at XXXXX@XXXX
XXXXXX Transit – Some people have it on their bucket list to transit the XXXXXX as a line handler for a 4 to 5 day commitment if not on a 2 year circumnavigation. John will be able to give a week or two notice to when they should be able to transit the XXXXXX You could fly into XXXXXX and get to XXXXXX Marina on the Caribbean side to move aboard the boat and wait the last day or two to get set to transit. It takes two days to Transit the Canal and then you would have a day or two on the XXXXXX to help send off the crew for the 2nd long leg. So, you would be able to spend a few days on the boat on each side of the Canal and then make the transit. (This is a non-sailing passage). If you think you might be interested please let John know and he can tell you how they have booked an agent to do the paperwork for the transit to speed things up and meet deadline.

1/14/2023 from Grenada to Annapolis MD on a Passport
OPO e-mail # 22-159 Boat owner and skipper XXXXXX has a 1985 Passport 47 XXXXXX named Ghost. Ted sail south with the NAR XXXXXX in 2019 and hired one of my friends as his skipper for the passage south. They had a 3rd OPO members aboard and it went great. He is now sailing the boat to Annapolis to put on the market. It is early in the year so he does not want to get to Annapolis until the end of March. He is looking for crew to sail back with his first option to find crew who have time to make a few stops along the way on this downwind return passage to the USA. If you do not have time for the entire passage, you can join hm for a month or so, whatever seems to work out for both of you. He would like to have three crew in total but can sail with two if the other person can stand a solo watch.
He e-mails Option A:
Island hop and do the tourist thing from Grenada -> St. Thomas or St. Johns then passages to XXXXXX -> Bahamas -> St. XXXXXX -> Charleston SC -> Beaufort NC -> XXXXXX NC final destination O XXXXXX -> Norfolk VA -> Annapolis. This plan would be a month or more with day sails (or night sails) from island to island.
The boat has been in the Caribbean he sailed south in the 2019 Rally. Covid kept her in check for a while. She is now in very good shape as they have been getting her ready for market. He now wants to bring it back to the states, but does not need to hire a skipper for the return passage. But he also does not want to rush. He is a bit flexible on the departure. He plans to go back to the boat and oversee the last of the work list being finished to get ready for the passage soon after the new year.
He e-mails more about the boat:
She has a dodger and bimini. 50 hp Betamarine diesel. 130 gals diesel and 130 gals water. Roller furling all sails. Dinghy with outboard. Teak interior. Sleeps 6. New ENO stove. Raymarine chart plotter with weather radar. ASI equipped. Autopilot. XXXXXX Band and VHF radio + Hand held VHF. Winslow life raft. EPRIB. Major upgrades in the last 6 months - new deck and more. Spacious salon. Very comfortable boat. NARC passage 2019 Newport RI -> Bermuda -> St. Maartin.
As usual the passage is free with all onboard food and boat expenses paid for, but he would like crew to get to and from the boat and have money for meals and drinks ashore. If interested please e-mail your sailing resume to him at XXXXX@XXXX

3/30/2023 from Marathon FL to New Rochelle NY on a 44 Cutter
OPO e-mail # 23-14 Pro skipper and good friend (I have known XXXXXX for 30 years) is looking for crew once again. He has gotten crew from us so many times before he writes his own crew request and all I have to do is copy and paste. He sent me the following yesterday. “I have a CSY 44 Cutter to deliver from Marathon FL to New Rochelle NY and I seek two seaworthy crew to assist. The trip is about 1200NM and should take 9-10 days at sea. We will try to go nonstop, weather and systems permitting. The boat is lived aboard and sailed by the owners and so is well taken care of. It is currently undergoing some repairs in Marathon. The weather and conditions will vary greatly, from tropical to cold, and calm to gale, dry to wet. Thus, crew must be prepared for all. Vast experience is not necessary, but some sailing knowledge benefits. Ideally crew can stand night watch alone, will be a team player, be aware and enthusiastic about a voyage in the Gulf Stream, along the Continental Shelf, around Hatteras, up the East River to Long Island Sound. I hope to sail out early April, 2023 from Marathon. I will rent a car from Ft. Lauderdale airport on, say, March 30, so potentially incoming crew can rendezvous at FLL. It is a 3-4 hour drive down the Keys. There is also an airport in Marathon MTH if you wish to meet there. Typical of OPO process, this trip includes expenses on board, but crew must get themselves to and from the boat. Interested crew members should send me a brief sailing resume and a statement as to your desire and suitability for this voyage. Feel free to ask questions. I will be in Europe beginning March 3, so email or WhatsApp is best communication for the next 12 days.” Capt. XXXXXX XXX-XXX-XXXX email: XXXXX@XXXX

6/7/2023 from Marion Mass to Azores on a Hinckley 51
OPO Crew Request # 23-20 Boat owner and skipper XXXXXX is looking for one replacement crew for a total of 4. XXXXXX Luca is an OPO member and he has gotten crew from us before. He e-mails:
I’m reaching you looking for a candidate to help me to bring “Vivaldi” from Marion to the Azores. Unfortunately, one of my crew bailed out and I’m looking for a fourth person. The plan is to leave Marion to Horta at the beginning of June weather dependent and the passage would take around two weeks. My crew are friends that have sailed with me in several occasions offshore in particular the Marion Bermuda race but also in the Caribbean. Both of them are boat owners. My self have sailed over 45,000 miles offshore, this would be my second tour to Europe. Vivaldi is a Hinckley 51 build in 1989 and own by me and mostly maintained professionally, at a boat yard while I’m not cruising around. Over the 30+ years that I have owned and maintained Vivaldi, I have kept her in top conditions, not only esthetically but also systems wide. On the safety side, it has a valid EPIRB, an inspected Offshore life raft, SSB and Iridium Go. The electronics are all B and G up to date, radar, chart plotters, autopilot, etc. There is a water maker and A/C powered by www.UUUUU.com generator. The engine and generator are Westerberke properly maintained.
In summary, I’m looking for a nice 4th crew with Offshore experience, able to stand a solo watch, respectful, neat and cordial. Travel expenses are not covered but all the boat and onboard expenses are included.
If they have questions, they can reach to me at G XXXXX@XXXX

5/25/2023 from Marsch Harbor Bahamas to Herrington Harbor Chesapeake Bay on a Tayana 48DS
OPO Crew Request # 23-21 Boat owner XXXXXX is looking for two experienced crew to help sail his 2006 Tayana 48DS Bob Perry designed (modified version with deck salon) bluewater cruiser named Oasis. He Adds: Marsh Harbor to Herrington Harbor is the plan. Sometime in May. Really flexible and would consider shorter hops if necessary. She is fully equipped for offshore and cruising. Fuel-160gals, Water-250gals + watermaker, solar, generator, 100HP Yanmar, cutter rigged- yankee(electric), staysail, cruising spinnaker and main(in boom). I'm looking for experienced crew as I don't have as much offshore experience as I wish. and my wife is more a passenger than a watch stander. We started sailing 10 years ago and I have done lots of racing inshore and have had a J28 for 8 years. I have ASA 101,103,104,105,106 and my wife has ASA 101,103,104. I did a Salty Dawg Rally to Antigua on a friends HR37 and liked it a lot and then (foolishly?) bought the Tayana 48DS last year and brought it back from Antigua with David Lyman's help. I took the Tayana to the Bahamas last Fall and need help getting her home as my normal crew is unavailable. Want 2 experienced offshore crew. One important note- my electric headsail furler died and I have to go forward to furl the yankee- not ideal. Will have to sail conservatively and make use of the staysail. Plan is to rerig it once I get back to the States as getting things done here is tough. The passage us free with all onboard boat expenses and all provisioning included. He will also pay travel expenses within reason for the right two crew, maybe a couple of teo friends. If in please send your sailing resume and phone number and be ready to ask a few questions to XXXXX@XXXX

Spencer has moved this boat twice before and knows the boat and the route well. Spencer is a very nice guy and has gotten crew from us before. He adds: Target departure date is May 8, possibly a few days later dependent on weather window and how quickly I can finish up my current delivery. Expect to take 9-11 days depending on conditions. XXXXXX mentioned last time, she’s a small light boat, so I wouldn’t hesitate to tuck in somewhere if things are going to get too sporty. The other crew is a friend and experienced sailor who has delivered this boat with me previously, but I would still like to have a third who is capable and comfortable with standing solo watch. Food and travel costs covered by owner (with preference given to someone local to CT or Miami to minimize travel expense). If interested please e-mail Spencer at XXXXX@XXXX

OPO crew request #23-22 Boat owner and skipper XXXXXX has a 1958 Ohlson 35-footer named Halcyon. He has sailed it from XXXXXX to the Bahamas in between work. The goal has always been to get the boat to XXXXXX week the middle of April. Ideally he would to have one or two more crew to join him for the entire passage. He plans to stop in the Turks and Caicos, then either XXXXXX or USVI or BVI’s / then onto XXXXXX and Nevis. He e-mails: Planned legs. XXXXXX in the Bahamas on 4/13/23 or 4/14/ 23 and head for Turks and Caicos. 1.) Bahamas to Turks - Nassau to Turks and Caicos - Roughly 400 NM 3-5 days 2.) Turks to XXXXXX - Roughly 400 NM 3-5 days Jeff has gotten crew from us for previous legs and it has worked out well.

3/1/2023 from Panama to Marquesas on a Leopard 45
OPO e-mail # 23-03 Boat owner, XXXXXX Goueff, has a well outfitted 2019 Leopard 45 named GLAM. As a result of their current crew cancelation, they are looking for two crew for this 3900 NM leg from Panama to the Marquesas (French Polynesia). There will be a total of 3 crew. He emphasizes “to us, most important is to have someone that will fit int the team, and at least one crew with significant sailing experience (>www.UUUUU.com NM) (including on catamaran) and at least one Atlantic or Pacific crossing”
He writes in his e-mails:
Glam is well equipped for blue water sailing. Since we purchased her last year, we sailed from XXXXXX to Annapolis, back to XXXXXX and then to Grenada, via a number of Caribbean islands, where we left her for hurricane season. We are now in Columbia on our way to Panama where we plan to cross in early March to the Marquesas in XXXXXX As my own sailing skills are limited, we are looking for at least one crew with considerable sailing experience.
The passage is free with all onboard expenses included. Plus, you need to have money for meals, drinks and entertainment ashore. Entry tax and administrative fees will be paid travel expenses within reason (economy). If interested please send your sailing resume to Stephan at XXXXX@XXXX
NOTE: This is an update from a crew request we sent out last month. Stephan did have 2 OPO crew lined up, but both had to drop out. (They had good reasons so I am not contacting them to say “Bad on You”, as we hate when skippers cancel on OPO crew as much as the reverse with OPO members leaving a skipper or owner in a bind. But that means he now still has two openings for this nice warm passage. I just got off the phone with him. As you will read in the crew request he is asking for one crew with good offshore experience. Don’t let that keep your from contacting him if you are close in miles or experience.

3/15/2023 from Panama to New Zealand on a S2
OPO e-mail # 23-10 Boat owner and skipper XXXXXX has a 2003 410 S2 named “KAIA”. He is presently in Colon Panama at the Shelter Bay Marina. They know about OPO at Shelter Island Marina and hopefully also remember that they are only supposed to pass on information to boat owners who are nice and have sea-worthy boats😊. He is looking for two crew or a couple and one other crew to join him for the canal transit and beyond. They need to have some offshore experience and be able to stand a solo watch. He has owned the boat for two years. Since he tells us the boat is set up with safety equipment to meet the ARC Rally requirements I am assuming he crossed with the ARC Rally in the last year or two and has made it all the way from Europe to Panama. He included the following information in his “crew request” form he sent to us yesterday afternoon.
“Owner's version. In good condition. Intended itinerary: Panama - French Polynesia - Cook Islands - Samoa (- Inue) - Tonga - New Zealand. Yes, bypassing the Galapagos. Emphasize on visiting islands with mountainous terrain, but also a few atolls. Main activities in each place: hiking, snorkeling, some contact with locals, boat maintenance. Note: my spouse will not be on board for the major passages, but will join for island visits and sailing. Sailing with a Rally: Independent I'm looking for (gender): either Cabins/Sleeping : shared cabin-own bunk Total people on board: 3-6 Crew roles: The crew will have the port hull for themselves, which has 2 cabins, each with a double bed, and one shared bathroom/toilet. I'm looking for at least one very experienced sailor (m/f), who can take full control of the boat, if and when required. Preferably with experience in the South Pacific islands, as well as knowledgeable with boat diesel engines and other systems. Then one or (preferably) two crew members (m/f) with ocean sailing experience. All crew members with a record of functioning in sailing crews and getting on well with the rest of the crew. All crew members will share equally in the cooking and cleaning tasks, as well as in watch keeping during passages. Of course, all hands-on deck when conditions require. It is also expected that crew will assist in any maintenance tasks, if and when required, as well as actively participate in provisioning efforts, Provisioning costs, as well as diesel and other fuel used will be tracked and shared between all crew members. Own entry / visa fees to be borne by each crewmember. Boat related costs, including maintenance, insurance, marina and mooring, Canal passage and boat (excl. crew) entry costs will be borne by myself, unless agreed otherwise. Crew will have daily access to text emails by Iridium GO and/or InReach messenger, in coordination (one at the time). Boat WiFi with Internet (through cellular) is installed, but will be available to crew (possible in limited manner) only when cellular is available and when prices are reasonable. Note - in order to minimize marina costs, we will be anchoring where possible, Money: expenses shared equally.”
While we do not know XXXXXX n and this is the first time he is asking for crew from us you will want to ask more questions than you might normally ask and not sign up for the entire passage to New Zealand, but inquire about plans to join him for a leg or two and see how it works out before committing for a longer passage. Good feedback from OPO members can help XXXXXX n w getting more crew if things work out well. Plus we know that OPO crew normally volunteer to sail for free and DO NOT contribute for things like fuel and provisions, we do think it is very reasonable to chip in for consumable expenses like these since it is a very long passage and it is unreasonable to expect someone to adopt you and pay for everything. But you will want to get an estimate of what he thinks this will be before you fly down and join the boat so there are not any problems that can be negotiated before you commit to joining the boat.
If interested in learning more about this passage please e-mail XXXXXX n your sailing resume and contact information. Since it is short notice for a long passage I am also cutting and pasting his phone number so you can also talk before buying a ticket and joining the boat. XXXXX@XXXX

3/3/2023 from Panama Canal to Tahiti on a Leopard Catamaran
OPO e-mail # 23-12 Good friend and delivery skipper XXXXXX is moving a new 50-foot XXXXXX to a charter base in Tahiti.. It was shipped to Florda as deck Cargo and commissioned along with two other boats. John is moving the one going the farthest as the other two boats went to XXXXXX bases. John is a founder of XXXXXX He is Australian, but has been living aboard in St. Maarten for many years. After arriving in Tahiti, he will fly to Australia to check on his properties and friends since he has not been back in a long time.
He has completed the first leg from Ft. Lauderdale to the XXXXXX and arrived two days ago. He expects to be there at least 10 days and as long as two weeks. He had a crew leave so is looking for a replacement crew for this long, and he says perhaps boring passage. Lighter winds and mostly downwind so will carry extra fuel just in case there is a lot of motoring. He will be at least a week waiting to go through the canal and then will spend a few days on the other end getting ready for the long non-stop leg to Tahiti, so you have time to make plans and book flights. If you want to make the canal Transat you can try and arrive in the next week. Once you are in touch with John he can let you know how the line of boats is proceeding through the canal. It is a busy time of year and he plans to transit before the XXXXXX who arrives there in a few days.
He does not need crew with a super amount of experience, but a mellow crew who can spend time reading while keeping a watch while the boat is on auto-pilot. This is a good mile builder and chance to see the south Pacific with a knowledgeable skipper who can fix anything.
John is a very quiet easy-going guy who helped me rebuild the hurricane damaged project boat during covid. I have known him for 20 years since he is a fellow delivery skipper who also worked the XXXXXX like I did in the 70’s and 80’s, but he worked in the XXXXXX I am happy to tell you more if you want to e-mail me about possibly joining him. I check e-mail once a day next week while also attending to OPO members joining us for the XXXXXX next week. If f you are interested please contact John with your sailing resume at XXXXX@XXXX
The passage is free but you have to get to and from the boat. All onboard expenses and provisioning included and you will not spend a dime while at sea for a month.

2/25/2023 from Panama City, Panama to Indonesia on a Sun Odyssey
OPO e-mail # 23-09 Pro skipper XXXXXX is skippering a 2015 51ft Sun Odyssey named “XXXXXX”. She has recently completed a refit in Cartegena Columbia. He is looking for one or two crew for a total of 4 or 5 people for this passage. Two crew are experienced and they have one “greenhorn” (Alyssa). The boat is a 4 cabin 4 head boat so it looks like you would have your own cabin. He e-mails: ” Seasickness on this long of a passage is too dangerous. If you get sea sick I can't take you.” He has obviously had a bad experience with crew in the past so want to make sure you are ok or know what to take to get through the first day. Answer to the question how experienced are the other crew he comments: “Ranging from 2 experienced captains to a greenhorn All I require is no seasickness and no drugs” This is a long passage, but could be a very good opportunity for a member with lots of time. As you know OPO members volunteer for free and usually pay their own way to and from the boat. Since I did not speak with him you will have to ask a couple more questions that normal to make sure about the terms for the passage. As you know usually the passage is free with all onboard expenses included, but you need to get to and from the boat and have money for meals and drinks ashore. Please confirm this when you contact him. The Captain found us on Google and since it is short notice I did not want to spend more time trying to get more details. If interested please e-mail your sailing resume to him at XXXXX@XXXX Since it is short notice I am also including the phone number he gave us XXXXXXXXX

OPO Crew request # 23-35 Boat owner and skipper XXXXXX sailed with us in the NAR XXXXXX last fall. He got crew from us and it worked out well. Doug has a 2020 Dufour 41 named XXXXXX It has a 3-cabin layout. It is well outfitted for offshore sailing and Doug is a nice man. I am copying most of what he sent us: Hope all is well with you and OPO. I’m now traveling up the Pacific coast and have a couple of crew needs I’d like to reach out to you about. XXXXXX Rica to XXXXXX Lucas, 1675 NM, 24-25 days, ~14 passage days, 11 Marina/weather/tour daysLooking for one additional crew to join three of us on this journey. He e-mails: XXXXXX Lucas to XXXXXX 800 NM, 11 days with stops and weather delays built www.UUUUU.com;re looking for one crew member to sail from XXXXXX XXXXXX to XXXXXX We just had a crew member cancel on me. The dates are from 5/25 to 6/5. It’s about 800 NM and the calendar days indicated above have potential weather/rest days built in. As you are probably aware, this can be a challenging passage because we’re traveling against a prevailing current. Some refer to this passage as the XXXXXX Others have said it’s not that bad. Anyway I’m interested in crew that has offshore experience and can hold up under rougher conditions. We plan to make the passage with a crew of 4 total and have 3 committed at this time so we’re looking for one more. 2/12/2023 from Puerto Rico to Florida on a Valiant 40
OPO e-mail # 23-08 We enjoy helping out members who have become friends and almost family over the years. Many of you have followed the saga of XXXXXX aboard Brick House, the Valient 40 that she cast off aboard with OPO Skipper XXXXXX 15 years ago. They met on a passage in our Swan Program. She is now on the last leg of her 15-year circumnavigation. She is looking for crew (Male or female) to help make the last 1000 miles to Florida. She sent us the following e-mail this morning. While I did not send out “crew requests” for her on short notice during covid when she was in Namibia, she is now much closer to come and easier to travel to. She is looking for experience crew who can stand a solo watch. You can learn more about XXXXXX and the boat on her YouTube Channel. http://www.UUUUU.com
“Experienced Crew Wanted for my Valiant 40 monohull BRICK HOUSE to depart Puerto Rico or Dominican Republic to FL in the next week or two or three. It’s an older boat 1976 in very well-maintained condition. It does NOT have a Watermaker and does NOT go in to docks and marinas so there is hauling of Jerry cans in the dinghy and serious water conservation practiced onboard. We will have access to weather reports and may make a few stops on the way to avoid bad weather. But hope to make a quick trip of it. But cannot go according to schedules or deadlines. Brick House sails conservatively and is a pleasant sailor with constant upgrades and maintenance. She requires nimbleness and strength to crew. Bunks are not private or spacious, and awareness Food is not luxurious… and we are only fed as well as we all share cooking and food expenses. Contributions to groceries and other reasonable onboard expenses for one’s self are expected as is getting yourself to and from the boat. Mostly alcohol-free boat (in port ok onboard not) No smoking or drugs.
Owner captain will pay all boat related expenses
Looking at two different scenarios:
Depart from Puerto Real, Puerto Rico within the next 1-2 weeks, direct to FL/GA with possibly a couple stops as needed
OR
Depart from Dominican Republic within the next 2-4 weeks direct to Fl or GA with possibly a few stops.
Looking for experienced, cooperative teammates who are neat and happy; conservative sailors who work hard to keep the boat safe and sound. Should be comfortable setting up running poles for a poled-out Genoa, taking solo night watches for 3-4 hours, using an anchor windlass, trimming sails, and taking direction from a fairly demanding woman captain 😉 (I know my boat, I want to take care of it well, have a lot of experience sailing her as I’m finishing a 15-year circumnavigation shortly, and need people who can contribute with great skills but are also eager to do it my way too)”
As usual you need to get to and from the boat. XXXXXX offers to pay onboard expenses but you can feel free to contribute as you see fit and are able to contribute to a good end to her circumnavigation. The right crew can be a big part of the end of this chapter in her life ad thoughts on planning for the next. If interested please send your resume to her at XXXXX@XXXX

OPO Cew request # 23=40 Pro skipper and good friend since 1992 XXXXXX is looking for two crew to help deliver a Catalina 42 owned by someone in the trade. XXXXXX has been a delivery skipper for many years. He is a nice guy who has gotten crew from us for many previous passages. He e-mails: I seek two able bodied sailors to help deliver a Catalina 42 from Puerto Rico to Annapolis MD. The boat is a well maintained and equipped sloop, with successful cruises in the Caribbean. The trip is about 1400NM and should take 10-12 days if all goes well. A stop in Bermuda is possible, so crew must have a valid passport. Crew should be aware, attentive, able to stand night watch alone and be able to readily tie a bowline knot. As with OPO, expenses on board are covered, but crew must provide their own transport to and from the boat. I expect the weather to be good to variable, with the wind veering three times around the compass during the transit. Likely much motoring. I plan to fly to PR on May 21 or 22, departing soon after boat check and provisioning. Interested crew should send me a brief sailing resume and assure me of bowline competency. XXXXX@XXXX

The passage can take three to six days depending on which way. Since it is short notice XXXXXX is happy to pay partial travel expenses depending on where you are coming from and going to. XXXXXX is a nice guy and good sailor. He adds: I'm wondering if you have two sailors who could start a delivery from Southport to Deltaville in the next few days. Since it is short notice, the owner will pay for your travel to the boat (or back from Port Jefferson NY. Basically, willing to pay one way to or from the boat within reason). The boat is very well equipped and Dave has owned her for 12 years. This should be a nice mostly downwind passage going the right way. The passage is free with onboard boat expenses covered but as usual you need to pay to get to and from the boat and have money for any shoreside meals or drinks. If interested please send you sailing resume to him at R XXXXX@XXXX

2/25/2023 from Trinidad to Charleston SC on a Race Boat
OPO e-mail # 23-11 Boat owner, skipper, OPO members and good friend, XXXXXX, is looking for one more crew to help sail his Open 40 from Trinadad (where he bought the boat) to Charleston. XXXXXX has many miles including a solo Transat in the 2009 Ostar from the UK to Newport. The other crew is Tim Kent who also has a long solo passage (Around the world) under his belt. XXXXXX bought this boat to outfit and upgrade for another Solo around the World race starting next fall from Spain. The boat has been updated from a new paint job to new engine and is going to Charleston to pick up a new set of sails and a bit more work before XXXXXX takes off on his 2000-mile qualifier.
Since XXXXXX is a longtime OPO members and has gotten crew from us several times before for his Outbound 44 that he owned and cruised for 15 years, he knows how we work. Here is what he has to say about the passage opportunity to join him and Kent on this adventurous sail on a racing machine that is not 100%, readybut certainly up to the task.
He e-mails:
I have a somewhat unusual request. I'm bringing my - still new to me - boat, Imagine, from Trinidad, where I purchased the boat, to Charleston, SC, and I'm expecting to depart around February 26.
The boat is a 2001 Finot-Conq Open 40, which is a fast but very spartan race boat. She does have a toilet and a one-burner stove. The boat has undergone a significant refit in Trinidad, though there are still parts of the refit to complete in Charleston. The boat has a new engine and sail drive, and all of the safety equipment that you would expect for a boat going offshore. The sails are tired (new set is on order), but the rig is solid. Some of the marine electronics are scheduled for replacement, but the autopilots are reliable and there's a new VHF and AIS.
I'm looking for one person to join me and my friend Tim Kent, a man who's already done one lap of the planet in a solo race. The trip is a tad over 1600nm, so it will probably take a good ten days.
The boat is a fairly high-performance boat, though we plan to keep everything dialed down in delivery mode. The boat has had some sea trials and will be ready to go.
The usual OPO rules apply, I'll cover all on-board expenses, and given the fairly short notice, I may contribute somewhat to travel expenses. As always on a passage, the right attitude and the discipline to keep a good watch are critical. Obviously some sailing experience is required, but reefing, jibing, etcetera will be a team enterprise. Finally, despite the boat being a 40-footer, she is very tight down below. Therefore, it would probably not be a good choice for a GBF (great big fella).
Interested sailors can email me at XXXXX@XXXX and we can take it from there.

2/28/2023 from Ventura CA to Newport RI via Panama Canal on a Swan 51
OPO e-mail # 23-01 Pro Swan skipper and good friend XXXXXX is starting his New Year with a nice long passage West to East. The boat is a Swan 51 named Elan that is in great shape after a sale and refit including a water-marker and new navigation systems, dodgers and bimini. He is looking for two crew with offshore experience who can stand a solo watch if needed.
He plans to depart Feb 28th so you would show up a day or two before then and plan on a six week or more. But this is a delivery so it will be as quick as possible, but also taking care of the boat.
He Adds;
“All crew to provide their own harness and safety gear. This trip should take about 6 weeks depending on transit through the canal. That includes a stop here and there on the way depending on our progress.”
As usual the passage is free with all onboard expenses, provisions and canal transit-fees included, but crew need to get to and from the boat and have money for drinks and meals ashore. If interested please e-mail your sailing resume to XXXXXX at XXXXX@XXXX

4/13/2023 from West Palm Beach FL to Brunswick GA on a Valiant 40
OPO Crew request # 23-30 Good friend and podcaster XXXXXX is looking for one more crew for a total of 3 crew for this passage up the East Coast. XXXXXX is the skipper of Brick House, a Valient 40. She recently completed an 11-year circumnavigation. She is in no rush and will wait for a good weather window. She knows how OPO works since she met Patrick in our Swan Program about 20 years ago.
The boat is a proven offshore sailing machine and is, well, strong as a brick house. XXXXXX runs a tight ship. While not a big boat below, there is certainly room for three sailors who know how to get along. She will cover boat expenses and basic onboard food, but like most long-term cruisers not flush so feel free to chip in for any extra special foods you may wish to have aboard to enjoy the week and of course have money for shoreside meals and drinks. And of course pay to get to and from the boat.
She e-mails this morning:
SV Brick House., a Valiant 40 in Southern Florida looking for 1 more crew to sail from southern Florida (west palm beach) to Brunswick Georgia as soon as weather clears up (hoping for a weather window between 4/13 and 4/20). You must get to PBI and return back to your home about 5 days later from Brunswick, GA and have some flexibility on arrival/departure due to weather.
Must be able to stand a 3-hour night watch by yourself, rotating between 3 of us, share in cooking and cleaning, and be a good sailor, and a fun, cooperative and respectful personality.
If interested please send her your sailing resume and contact number to R XXXXX@XXXX
