Press Release
“LATITUDES & ATTITUDES” TELEVISION MOVING TO THE WATER CHANNEL
Last Fall Latitudes and Attitudes TV crew called Kewl Productions came to the
start of the NARC Rally for a segment on their TV Show. As per the below Press Release
they have moved to a bigger and larger audience channel and will air the show again this
coming Tuesday (May 2nd) at 10:30 EST and 7:30 Pacific Coast Time. It is called the water
channel which is Dish # 216. You can check your local listings to see what other Cable
services carry the Water channel. Also starting on Tuesday and for the next 7 episodes,
we will be running a 30 second commercial each week. If you stay up that late and get the
channel try and remember to see the episode and tape it if you want.
The Production guy also tells us that anyone can buy the show for $1.99
and I have included that information below to anyone that knows how to do this
or has children that know how to do this.
If you would rather sail with us than watch TV and have some time off in May to crew
aboard one of our boats heading north from St. Martin to Newport contact Cathy while
I am away and she will give you the dates. When I get back May 6th I will be in the
office on Monday May 8th and will make sure you are all set and give you last minute
logistical instructions.

PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
March 22, 2006
“LATITUDES & ATTITUDES” TELEVISION MOVING TO THE WATER CHANNEL
FRIDAY HARBOR, WA – Having just completed their first two highly successful seasons on the air, “Latitudes & Attitudes” – the only national television show dedicated to sailing and cruising – will begin broadcasting on the Water Channel starting in May, 2006.
Based on the popular monthly sailing magazine of the same name, “Latitudes & Attitudes” will be the new network’s flagship sailing program. “We are very excited,” said Bob Bitchin, Executive Producer of the show and publisher of the magazine. “Finally, there is an entire network devoted to water lifestyle programming. Our show, the magazine, and the Water Channel are a perfect match. It’s going to be a great partnership.”
With a loyal fan base and 26 half-hour episodes already completed, the show’s Producer/Director Darren O'Brien feels that the third season will be the best yet. “I think viewers will be very pleased with the Water Channel. Besides our show, there will be lots of great stuff to watch. They’ve put together a very creative and experienced group of TV professionals that are going to make the network a fabulous channel for boaters.”
The producers are confident that airing on the Water Channel will bring the show and its core message, “Don’t dream your life, live your dream” to more people than ever before. Upcoming episodes will continue to feature real life cruisers and their boats, as well as such exotic sailing locales as the British Virgin Islands, Mediterranean, and South Pacific. “We have some very interesting people for you to meet,” said O’Brien. “Some of them in our own backyards. You don’t have to sail off into the sunset to be a true cruiser. It’s definitely a state of mind, a passion for being on the water.”
Viewers are advised to “check local listings” for the new show times and dates. Up to date information can be found online at either www.seafaring.com, the Latitudes & Attitudes official web site, or www.waterchannel.com.
