You already know about the OPO NARC Rally TV segment tonight on Dish 218 or some cable netowrks (but not cablevision in the NY area). at 11:00 pm. Repeated Saturday 10:30 pm and Sunday 1:30 pm. (All time EST Time Zone) I do not get it myself. Hey Dino (My brother in law and early OPO member, who I know has Dish). Tell your wife to expect me over at 11:00 tonight to see the show. Hear is another schedule to print out and think. It is the Caribbean winter schedule for Avocation. 1) Sunday Jan 22nd to Sunday 29th - One week cruise. Fly round trip to St. Martin, but sail over to BVI for the week. Hank is the skipper. One cabin left for two people $2500 or $1250 each bunk. The other two cabins are taken. 2) Sunday Jan 29th to Monday February 6th - Same trip the following week. Hank will see you and the boat off with another skipper on Sunday Jan 29th. Fly into and out of St. Martin. One week to BVI and back. Three bunks are taken, but we have another cabin for two and a single berth left open. $1400 per person or $2500 for the cabin. 3)* Heineken Regatta Monday 27th February to Monday March 6th - Three days practice and three days racing. 4)* BVI Regatta - Tortola - Monday March 27th to Monday 3 April - Full week of practice and around the bouy racing. 5)* Antigua Sailing Week - Friday 28 April to Saturday May 6th. Five days of racing. 6) Return sail from St. Martin to Newport with a stop in Bermuda. May 13 May to 27 May. Swan Sailing Program annually since 2000. $2665 per person. * The price for all three Regattas is the same. $2100 per person. However the price does include accomodations ashore and transporttaion to get around (last year we reunted a van at Heineken and a 42 foot catamarran in Antigua). You do not need to make any hotel or car rental reservations. OPORT Sailing Team members get a $500 discount. To reserve a berth now send a $500 deposit before January 1st. After Jan 1st 50% will be due upon signing aboard. Full Payment due 30 days before the event. We will be taking credit cards as of Mid January. Part III OPO Notice later this week or early next week. Thanks for bearing with us throuhg our computer woes. Also: We had over 20 OPO members sail in the NARC Fleet this year. If any of you have digital pictures that you can send to "Windcheck" magazine for us that would be very cool. I sent the editor a few paragraphs today and I know they are near deadlimne so would need pictures by Monday the latest. So if you took any pictures and know how to send them via the internet then please send them to chris at Windcheck and if you can include a captain and your contact info I am sure he will give you credit for the picture.
