Have you been sailing for a long time, but mostly coastal and day sailing? Have you been on charter in exotic locations, but never sailed very far or overnight? Many people have gone sailing offshore for the first time through our Offshore Adventure Sailing Program.
Offshore sailing is not for everyone and is a lot different than coastal sailing. The smart thing to do is to go sailing on a known sea worthy boat under the guidance of an experienced professional skipper and sail offshore to an interesting place to see how you like it.
Many other people want to gain confidence sailing offshore before they depart on their own boat or further plans towards an extended cruising plan.
For the last 5 years we have been running the Swan Offshore Sailing Program between Newport and St. Martin twice a year. We have several boats departing this spring from St. Martin on May 8th, and arriving in Newport by May 21st. If you would like to sign up for a leg or get more information please ask.
This year we have added several Caribbean Regattas and a summer program aboard our own Swan 48 that we recently purchased for use in our fleet. In the past we have been moving charter boats and privately owned Swans between Newport and St, Martin. Now we can offer the Program in our own boat while we are waiting to start construction of our own fleet of boats.
