Monday March 1st to Monday March 8th Fly into and out of St. Maarten on the Mondays. $2500 per person includes accommodations which this year is almost across the street in the new building on the water at the Pelican Resorts. Spouses are welcome for only $850 extra. If you are at the Swan Rendezvous you can sail back with us. Other crew will fly in on Monday, get the boat ready with us on Tuesday and then practice on Wednesday and Thursday before racing starts on Friday. We will have Mark Washeim, our Doyle Sailmaker, aboard with a new set of racing sails. We have many of our old crew from past years joining us for the regatta, but we have a couple of berths left. With new sails we should be very competitive. We also have the new carbon mast and racing halyards.
BVI Regatta
March 28thst to April 5th. Nanny Cay, Tortola BVI. $2000 per person. Includes support Boat. For the BVI Regatta this year we will be sailing the Swan 48 Avocation. I will be onboard and the crew will be mostly OPO members and some Italian friends we met in Sardinia. Avocation will not be racing in this regatta this year as we give a Swan 56 another test run in preparation for our new program. You have the option of flying into St. Maarten March 26th and then sailing over to the BVI with us and then sailing back to fly home April 6th. Or Fly into Tortola BVI on Monday March 28th and fly home the following Monday April 5th. This is a fun intimate regatta and we get to spend a couple of days at the Bitter End Resort.
